In the bad books again!
So the nice man from National Veterinary Supplies came and delivered the practices order. Angela was half way through checking it when she heard a box of chocolates being opened by Tam and Dexter in the prep room so I thought I would help her out as it was rather a large delivery. I jumped in the box to find that the nurses had ordered me a cat toy loaded with my favourite catnip!! So I showed my appreciation by playing with it and dribbling all over it only to be told that it wasn't mine after all!! Woops in trouble again!!!

New pets on the block!
Hello Snot, you don't know me but I know lots about you from the lady in reception at Oxley Park.
She tells me your top cat, thought you might like to know about the strange goings on here today.
There I was minding my own business, looking for some where to have my morning nap. I was considering the practice waiting room until I saw this!!!
What do you make of this then?
Purrs & licks
Saffron

BVNA Veterinary Nursing Week 17-23rd July
Won't they just be full of it! A whole week dedicated to them. We won't hear the last of this! What about the " Hard Working, Meeting and Greeting, Black and White Long Haired Vermin Control Operative Week", that's what I want to know?

In, out, in, out
First it's sunny, then it's raining, then it's sunny again, then it isn't. I can't tell whether I'm coming or going sometimes. Stayed in, in the end, and did some meeting and greeting. Well, one has to be seen to be earning a crust doesn't one?

Whose Birthday?
Not that I'm bitter......... but I turned 11 on Monday and no-one remembered! I wasn't expecting a great celebration with balloons, cake or banners but a little recognition would have been nice. Still, I did have a black thing (Wibble) free night on Monday as she decided to stay out for the night. That alone was something worth celebrating. Oh well perhaps they'll make it up to me next year!
Everyone has been very busy recently with Vaccination Amnesty month in May and now in June it's National Identichip Month. Lots of pets are coming in for chipping so that they can be identified should they get lost and more importantly they can be reunited with mum & dad.
Will sign off now as the sun has moved round and I need re-adjust my sleeping position.

Freedom!
Warm days, waiting room windows open, I can come and go as I please. Am I getting older, or have they raised the height of the window sills?

Spring!
Spring is on it's way at last! It seems that the neighbourhood is back under control. No more challenges to my superiority.
My only challenger is the black thing I am forced to live with! She certainly has her moments, especially when she has been on the old catnip!! But put her outside and she's not so brave then. Scared of her own shadow then she is!!
The girls here are disappointed with her too. We now have a demonstration model of one of those new fangled cat flap things. You know the ones, the ones that only let through cats that have their microchips recognised by the flap. They're supposed to stop unwanted visitors coming in and eating all your food. Well, the girls have programmed Wibble's chip to be recognised so she can be used as a demonstrator. Will she play ball? Will she heck!! Won't go near it! I do wonder sometimes as to why she is here. She's not been in a movie like me. Well, it may have only been a training video but it felt like a movie to me!!
Oh well back to my hectic lifestyle.
