Post-Christmas Blues
Well, everyone is well and truly back to normal. There are no more sweet wrappers floating around for me to chase and the one word I keep hearing mentioned a lot is 'DIET'. Don't know what it means but it seems to have had an effect on everyone's mood. I've noticed there aren't any cheese and onion crisps to be had either recently! There's lot's of green stuff around at lunch times too, no more tasty morsels for me to beg for. I'm sure it won't last long, I seem to remember this happening about the same time last year and that passed really quickly! If they get any ideas of taking away any more of my treats I will just have to go out and see what the wildlife has to offer!

Well the holiday is well and truly over and I am starting 2012 as I mean to go on. Living life fast and furious! The girls are back after their festivities and boy are they sluggish. I'm up and raring to go. After a couple of days shut away with the black thing I feel invigorated and full of energy. The first clients of the morning got my usual greeting but none of them seem to appreciate my playful tapping with my paw or my loving nibbles on their fingers. No fun! I did a few laps of the car park and found everything in order so my inspection moved indoors. As the weather was so foul I went on sentry duty by the front door and observed the comings and goings in comfort. My duties were rudely interrupted by a bash behind me, I then noticed the black thing sliding down the glass panel behind me. She really should have learned about glass by now!!
Anyway, sentry duty over I retired to a very conveniently placed basket on the front desk where I could survey my territory. The fact that these silly girls are using it to sell cards from is a mere inconvenience! I don't know how long my resolution will last, may not be so much 'fast and furious' as 'fat and fluffy'. Oh well!

Christmas time....
.....mistletoe and wine! Well more whine than mistletoe as the girls have turned the radio up a little louder than usual and switched it onto smooth christmas!! There are chocolates and biscuits everywhere and not a single one is for me! Cheese and onion crisps on the other hand... The diets of the last few weeks have gone out the window as the bin is over flowing with paper wrappers that I'm not allowed to play with, but they don't know that I sometimes pull them out of the bin and play with them around the prep room. On a lighter note, those two young cell mates of mine have finally gone to a new home just in time for christmas which means I only have to spend my christmas with the black thing.... Not so merry for me! However while on my rounds I stumbled onto a present that had mine and wibbles name on it, if they think I'm going to share it with her they're wrong! Tomorrow night I'm logging on to Norad track Santa to count down the hours until he leaves my presents that I'm not allowed to share with Wibble because I have been informed that she is on the naughty list this year! Well goodbye for now and hope everyone has a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Framed!!
It has come to my attention that I have been implicated in the abduction and misappropriation of a small reptile. One small Corn Snake. I would just like to say that anyone who knows me knows I love snakes.
Can't eat a whole one though.
Not being ignored now, eh?

Myspace....
.....no, not the website - I just need some. The cat room is now filled with babies and half witted black cats. And, no, she still hasn't grasped the concept of transparency as it applies to window glass! Well, at 4 degrees it's too cold to to spend the night outside, so, do you know, I've had to resort to hiding - yes hiding, in my own home to avoid being banged up with that lot or freezing to death!! Still, the waiting room wasn't so bad. As long as I keep my head down at the end of evening surgery they can't seem to find me behind the food bags on the waiting room stand. I don't move much when I'm settled, so the burglar alarm can't see me! Not 5 star, but better than the alternative choices of Bedlam and my best Scott of the Antarctic impression! Or was it the Arctic, I can never remember.

Invaded!
As if it isn’t enough that I have to share my home with that black thing, but now they’ve gone ahead and decided to house some kittens here as well! Apparently Dexter has agreed to help the RSPCA re-home some kittens… Well nobody asked me my opinion! The black thing has also been acted strangely and is still trying to catch me through a window, the dozy cat!
