Saturday 12th December

Well Christmas is coming, or so they tell me. The tree is up in reception and there are more toys than normal in the waiting room. I can smell the catnip toys but they are just too high for me to get to, although I keep trying. Wibble seems to have more luck than me at climbling, but her jumping skills still leave a lot to be desired.
One bright winters morning last week I went out for my usual daily constitutional, but to my horror I  quickly discovered that Wibble had been allowed out with me. They seem to think I would enjoy sharing my hunting skills and knowledge of the local area with her, little do they know! She has the hunting etiquette of an elephant. Needless to say there were no mice to be seen for the rest of the day! If they think I'm sharing my feeding ground with that  black whirlwind they can think again!

" I got my own back on him for ditching me! Whilst he was helping wrap some Christmas presents this morning he had gone into the paper carrier bag to check it was empty and  I launched my attack! I haven't seen him run so fast in ages. He's such a wuss!!" Wibble X

I'm off to on a hunt of a different kind now.........my present. It must be around here somewhere. I'll let you know how I get on.

Stitches Out!!!!

At last.......... They finally took the rest of my stitches out today! So I'm now free & guess what..... As I said the mice think they've got one up on me as there's loads of them out there now! I'll give them a few days to think I'm not a threat anymore before I start taking them all down again. It's nice to finally get out & about again & away from Wibble, she's been driving me nuts. Anyway, I said I'd let you all know once the dreaded stitches were out, so now I'm off for my tea & a well earned rest after being out & about all day!
I'll catch up with you all soon!

23rd November 2009

Today they told me that I'd be free again (at last!) and that they would be taking out my stitches. Well, that didn't happen because they took the first few out then told me the rest have got to stay in for a few days longer! Am really fed up with this now!
Then to top it all off 'Wibble' decided to rub my nose in the fact that she's been playing with all the new Christmas toy's that came in todays order (I was wondering what they all kept shouting at her for), but then I suppose at least I'm out of trouble being banged up still!
I was allowed out for a little while this morning, to stretch my legs apparently, but then I managed to ruin it all when they caught me trying to escape out the back door! I'm sure the mouse population in the field is getting out of control by now, they just don't understand. So before they caught me I was sick all over the stairs........ that'll teach them!
I'll let you all know how the final stitch removal goes in a few days!

At last

They've let me out at last. Didn't seem too keen when I made a bee line for the back door. They weren't impressed with my half hearted attempt to clear the reception desk either. Scooped me up muttering something about my insides coming out if I kept that up, and stuck me back in a kennel. At least it was bigger than the last one.
Truth to tell, I was trying to get away from that black Tasmanian Devil (although they insist that she's something called a "kitten") that they've adopted and called Wibble.
I'll give her Wibble if she sticks her paw through the bars of my prison and tries to nick my tea again!

Bored and broken

Good morning all!
I'm bored. Last week some twit ran me over in the car park. The boss and nurses fixed me up, but I've been banged up in this kennel for a week now, so I decided to start this blog. When something happens, I'll let you know.
