Home at last

Back in our familiar cat room at Stantonbury Surgery. Thank goodness. Maybe Wibble will be a bit less wibble now!

No fixed abode

Moved to Eaglestone before Christmas, staying with those nice people at Vets Now over Christmas, and now back at Eaglestone. Where will it end? I want to go home! Wibble is now completely stir crazy.

Chilly!

Wibble won't go outside, and I feel a winter coat coming on! Brrrrrrrr!

Rumbled!

Can't believe it! Thought the shelf under the ultrasound machine would be the perfect place to hide. Now I'm back in the kennel room for the weekend with goldfish brain!
Still, probably for the best. If I'd thought the whole thing through I mught have realised that I'd be spending the weekend in the dark - and hungry.

Snooping?

A little birdy told me that a feed from this blog is now going straight to the website!
What a nice little birdy.
Especially the crunchy bits

Pipes and gripes

Wheldons, the plumbers, have been in the past 2 days, re-routing the water pipes. Wibble has chosen to spend the time hiding outside - eating al fresco and refusing to come back in! So be it. That cat is not playing with a full deck!!

Half Hearted Hunting

Well, she's coming on, albeit in a bit of a half hearted way. At least she's outside most of the time now, but still no idea of hunting. Not much point lining up a Magpie - especially when it's on top of a car!!! Stick to the moths and butterflies Wib!

Hijacked

HAHA, Wibble here! While that fluffy thing is napping, i've managed to hack into his blog, to give you MY updates, because they're going to be more interesting then anything that old fluff ball can write mawhahaha. The weather has been getting a bit warmer lately, so all the open windows in the practice are my new cat flap. Now usually the outside seems very scary, but when that bee flew past my face i just had to chase it, outside. While i was out there, i realized it wasn't that scary and my cat flap is always open so i can get back in. After that bee had flown up out of my reach, i looked around the grassy bit at the front of the surgery where i was sitting, there was a strange tall thing sticking up out the ground, i thought, if i climbed it i could get that stupid bee! it turns out, its quite hard to climb, and chase a bee. One minute i was on a branch, the next i was on the floor again, its like the stick thing was moving! so i gave up on that bee, and started playing with a piece of long grass, much easier.
ooh no! snots waking up now, better get off the computer! nobody tell him i was here, he'll never know mwhahahaha

Pampas Pouncing!

Glorious sunshine at last. Loads of vermin to attack...............if only Wibble would leave me in peace to get on with it!  I just get one lined up and am ready to pounce when she comes lumbering onto me and spoils the whole thing. We could work as a team but she doesn't grasp the fact that she has to chase the vermin and not ME!!
At the moment her limit seems to be pampas grass that has been felled, she has just about killed one whole head of that. Will she ever grow up?

Sunny day

Lovely sunny warm day at the surgery today. Still on vermin watch!

What to do with food you don't like

Every now and then we get to try new things here. Usually when someone carelessly leaves food around where Wibs and I can get it. Sarah made one such mistake on Saturday, leaving some bags of food by the back door ready to take home for her cats. Well, I ask you, couldn't say no really. So on the basis that if it's good enough for them, it must be good enough for us, and that these things always taste nicer if they're nicked, we set about the bags.
And do you know, after all that effort and sneaking around it wasn't that good!

So I pewked it on the mat!

That'll teach them. Leave something decent next time!

Practice video

I don't believe it. A practice video! Well, I can tell you, I'm not doing my own stunts, and I want my own trailor!! Makeup......, wardrobe????

Floors!!

Can't see what all the fuss is about. I wouldn't have walked in the glue anyway. Just an excuse to keep me locked up again for a week. Still, out now! Hunting season starts very soon. Maybe I can lose the black thing in the bushes.

Friday 12 March 2010

Wibble has taken to peeing in the Xray room! The two legged ones are not pleased. I've seen her nipping upstairs as well. Just waiting for her to try using the computer rack as a loo, and connect herself to the National Grid!!

Exercise? i think not....

While curled up in a pile of fresh clean towels out of the tumble drier, having my usual day dream about all those mice out there, just waiting for me to eat...i heard a funny noise. It sounded like paper balls...i love chasing paper balls...so i thought I'd get up and investigate. Of course the first thing i see when i open my eyes, WIBBLE!! that damn black whirlwind running around chasing my paper balls!....ahh i cant wait till spring, i can be outside all day, away from her, sunbathing and chasing mice... anyway, back to my story. I've  recently acquired two new hand maidens, all for myself. Wibble thinks their hers, but we all know as i am the most hansome cat,  their all mine. Paula and Gemma were playing with Wibble, throwing paper ball's around the practice, so i just crawled out of my warm pile of towels and meowed so they would know i was awake now and ready for MY paper ball! so Paula threw one near me and i proceded to play with it for the next ten minutes, chasing it up and down the practise, until......my hand maidens laughed and said " thats good exersice for you snot" and that was it for me, i dont need exersice! So i ignored the many paper balls landing near me, curled back up into my towels and continued my day dreaming about the sun, and mouth-watering mice! That will teach my new two legged people, i don't excerise for anyone!
This was a lot of writing for my little paws and all this talk about dayy dreaming has tired me out, so i think im going to have a nice long nap in some fresh towels. I'll be writing again soon with my next big adventure x

Twitter Link

Those observant members of the elite social group that are the readers of my blog will have noticed that on the right of my blog page I have a Twitter link to the practice Twitter site, so that I may keep an eye on the goings on therein! Cunning eh?

Taking it easy

Here I am again, back on line. Not been much happening here for months, so I've been taking it easy. Wondering why I can only sleep24hrs a day and not 25. I really need that extra hour to be at my best.
For what? You may ask. For when the vermin wake up! Nothing on the hunting front for weeks. They must all still be hibernating. Open season soon!
Anyway, thought I'd better get my oar in first, and get the blog up to date, as the two legged ones are muttering about getting on line. They already have a website at www.midsummervet.co.uk, but they have also set up a Facebook page this weekend, and are now talking about a Twitter site. I'll have to keep an eye on those. I have a reputation to consider.
Still, if you want the real inside story, you'll always hear it here, straight from the cat's mouth!
